Fall Baking Party : DIY Decorations

The decorations for my baking party were very simple, yet classic. I wanted a really pretty table, so I started with a nice color palette – pear green, dusty blue, and red. I did have a few pops of pumpkin orange and autumn yellow, but it helped bring the whole autumn color palette together.

I was able to pick up the white wire baskets at my local dollar store (hooray!). Run and get some today  if you can. They are always sold out at my local store.

The ruffled cake stands (my new favorite!) were a cheap find at pier 1. I’d recommend picking those up too. White ruffles never go out of style if you have daughters.

I accented the table with the ingredients needed for making our pies – apples and pears! It was very pretty, and also convenient to have them at arms length.

For placesettings, I hand stamped names onto glassine bags. Then I filled the baggies up with some color coordinating candies and sealed the bags with washi tape. Simple, yet fun – that’s usually the way to go!

Sara, this is so lovely! I don’t comment on your blog often (I know, shame on me!), but this Fall party is gorgeous, and the Halloween carnival party was just out of this world! Will I get to see (and hold!) beautiful Evelyn at SNAP next year???? Please say yes!!!! :) xoxo,
    Wendy
