Donut I’d do without a Teacher like you! : Free printable

Oh my! What a month this past month has been! I always love April (my birthday month! Hooray!) But it never seems to be a slow month. at. all. This year has been no exception! I have 2 very big projects I’ve been working on behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to share both of them with you!!
Because of all that is going on, I didn’t realize, until last week or so, that it is Teacher Appreciation week next week! While I don’t have any children currently enrolled in any public school, I still wanted to put a few ideas together for those who do!
This idea is actually based off of my favorite Valentines idea you can find here. Some sweet reader had mentioned wanting to do this same idea for teacher appreciation week, so here it is! While I would love to take credit for the idea, I will go ahead and just take credit for the design.
I came up with more of a retro vintage inspired label that you can print right onto white paper bags. And, who doesn’t love a donut in the morning? I think it is a perfect teacher gift! But, if you are wanting to add a little more, easily stick this cute donut baggie with a gift card to a store or coffee shop.
All you need to do is:
Print the printables onto regular white paper bags or 6 inch by 8 1/2 inch white paper glassine bags. It’s just the same as how I printed on my brown paper bag baseball invitations. You can find instructions on how I did it here.

Well, it is definitely a play on words. If you say “don’t know what” really really fast it almost sounds like “donut”. Anyways, that is what I was going for. Just don’t hand it out to any English teachers. Ha!

My husband was wondering out loud if the teachers would appreciate the play on words. I am a teacher and I say YES!! I love it and anytime a student wants to give me a donut…I will definitely appreciate the play on words :)

These are great! Any chance the teacher could be changed to employee for an employee appreciation gift?

Hi! I’m going to be handing these out as teacher gifts for the 1st day of school. Will the print job work if it’s 4 1/2 * 7?

      Hi Natalie,
Yes. It should. Just make sure to check the “fit to page” square on your print settings. It should then shrink it down enough to fit onto you page/bag.
