A Handmade Holiday : Neighbor Gifts

I can’t believe it’s our final day sharing our party hop with you! Of course we had to cover some cute DIY Neighbor Gifts! It’s always such a hard thing to figure out, and I am always grateful for some fun inspiration.
Well, it is fun inspiration we have!

DIY Snowman Kit by Confetti Sunshine
To make your snowman kit you will need:
Wooden Beads
Thin wooden dowel that fits into your wooden beads
Black paint
Mod Podge, or a water resistant paint
Snowman hat
Carrot
Clear cello bag
1: Cut down the wooden dowel to approximately 2 1/2 inch pieces. 2: Stuff the wooden dowel into a bead. Sand down the top if you have any wood sticking up. 3: Repeat until you have at least 7 pegs. 4: Paint your pegs black. 5: Let dry and seal the paint with a coat of Mod Podge. 6: Package the pegs with a snowman hat and fresh carrot. If you are mailing the snowman kit, just add a note informing your friend to add a fresh carrot for a complete kit.

Ta-da! This is what your snowman could look like in freshly fallen snow. And, yes.. we have had snow already! And, while I didn’t run out and build ya’ll a snowman for a picture, I did go place my snowman face down in the freezing cold just so you could see how it looks in actual snow. Aren’t I the best?

That makes it the perfect time to start planning the little things – such as neighbor gifts! While we would all love to be able to bake up a beautiful cake or a loaf of homemade bread for each of our neighbors, we all know that isn’t possible. Instead, try giving your friends and neighbors the next best thing – a Melted Snowman! Which, by the way, would pair so nicely with this Snowman Building Kit! […]
