Miniature Christmas trees just must be one of my favorites. I seem to make some sort every single year. And, most of the time, the little trees are part of my Gingerbread House party decorations. I think there is something so adorable about mini trees with mini houses.
This year, I tried out two different ways of making these little trees. And, I love how it turned out mixing the two styles together.
The first style is what I lovingly referred to as a gnome tree. I love the geometric cone shape, and it reminds me of a gnome hat.
But, if there was ever a Christmas tree to make, this is by far the simplest tree out there.
What you will need for the DIY miniature felt tree:
1: Print and cut out the template. Use the template to cut out the craft felt. 2: Fold the felt in half. 3: Hand stitch the felt together, down the side. 4: Open the felt up into a cone shape and stand on end.
And, I do want to share both ways of creating these miniature christmas trees DIY projects! But, the second one I am sharing, today, over at See Vanessa Craft. So be sure to hop over there to see how I made these adorable fringed mini Christmas trees.
