Bunny Envelope Invitation ideas

bunny-envelope-diy-project-1This week I am having a lot of fun playing around with bunnies! First up, is this adorable bunny envelope. Mail in our house just got cuter, folks. We are now pleasantly obsessed with drawing faces on every envelope we find. (It does makes paying bills a little sweeter.)

But, the real reason I put together these little bunny envelopes was for my daughter’s girl’s night she is planning. It is going to be all things bunnies, so why not have a little bunny as part of the invitation ideas?

To make these bunny envelopes you will need:
Standard 6 1/2″ by 3 5/8″ white envelopes
“Bunny Ears” free printable

How to make the bunny envelopes – 1: Draw two eyes and a nose onto the back of your envelope. 2: Gently fold your envelope in half. Try to not make any creases. Use the scissors and cut a slit in the envelope right at the fold for the back flap. 3: Print and cut out the bunny ears. 4: Slip the bunny ears down the slit you cut. Glue/tape them in place inside the envelope.

*special note* I haven’t tried mailing a bunny envelope. I don’t think it would be a problem, but it might need extra postage. I will be trying it soon, though, and will let you know how it turns out.
